Why do you think some people can make money online while others keep on failing? You can go on to any forum about home-based business opportunities or internet businesses and you will find out that every member on these forums are not making any money.
Their conversation is always about why it would not work. Or about how some mysterious friend advised them not to anything because they’ll end up broke. They are saying Internet business is a waste of time and that there are no money to be made online.
There are 5 general false beliefs about Internet business:
1.Creating And Running An Online Business Is Very Expensive
I’m sure you already know that this statement is completely not true. You can start and run your business with no cost being involved. As an example of this is affiliate program. You are promoting other people’s products so you don't need anymoney.
2.You Can Become Rich Overnight
I don’t think so. Do You? Companies running this ”Get Rich Quick Schemes “ are working on the theory : A Sucker Is Born Every Minute. And even if you get involved in these schemes you will not make any money in the long run. All what you’ll get is your name being dragged all aver the Internet and labelled as a SCAM. You don’t want, that do you?
3.You To Know Programming Languages (HTML, PHP…) and Graphic Design
This is a last thing you should worry about. If you do not know HTML you can buy very cheap WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. These are very easy to work with.
What about PHP? This a server side scripting language. You don’t have to worry about learning this. There is a countless number of websites offering free scripts that you can download and implement. Yes that’s right, completely free of charge. But if you decide to learn it go for it. It’s very simple to learn. But what I recommend you to do is to concentrate on activities that are most profitable for you. Specialize!
Most important skill you need to acquire in business is outsourcing. What this means that you should know how to find people which can do what you can’t and asked them for help.
4. On The Internet, There Is No Need To Know How To Sell
This statement has make people who hate selling are attracted to ads that read “no selling required”. Think for a moment, is there any logic at all you can make money without doing anything at all? Usually these programs are usually unworkable and some are run by fly-by-night operators.
In this business, don’t try to sell to other people. Instead, you inform your potential customers. Show people what their lives would be like with what you offer and you will have a sale without selling anything at all!
5. You Don’t Have To Build A Mailing List At All
Laughing out loud – that is like saying, “I don’t want to be in business”. Put this in your head, your mailing list is as important to you as the “Yellow Pages” is to a conventional B2B business.
“The money is in the list”. You probably heard this from most gurus out there. But you should also have this word in your mind, “The money is in the relationship”. The idea of networking with people is unattractive to most who hate to sell.
Remember though, you are not selling anything. You are just showing people their life and how it can easily be enhanced by what you have to offer.
